The market is a wonderful place with a lot of variety! They do charge a fee of R10 at the entrance as you enter which I have never seen before but completely understand. The market itself does get very full especially as the day goes on but the vendors seem to have enough stock to keep the crowds fed and serviced for most of the day.

The seating is informal (tree stumps, hay and picnic benches) so I would avoid wearing white or delicate fabrics. There is also live entertainment by young up coming musicians which is wonderful.
