On the 3rd February 2016, I made a payment of R550 and the outstanding balance was an amount of R 5911.81 (including the attorney fees)<br> On the 18th February 2016, I went in to settle the account, they now informed me because of the interest the account is no longer R5911.81 but rather R6010.63, which I paid. I then contacted Foschini Group to find out if I can get a paid up letter, they informed me that I should contact the Attorneys, which I did and now the outstanding balance with them is an extra amount. Does the interest accumulate with an amount of R98.82 every week or how is the interest calculated? i do not understand why the people that work at the branch gives me a settlement amount which include the attorney fees and when contacting the attorneys the give me another amount, I have taken the lst money that i have to settle this account just to be informed that vat need to beinclude as well as commison? so what is the R855.00 which state attorney fees on the statement for?
Best regards,
