Unbelievable

I was asked by Foschini to update my store card - which I have for many years and is excellently maintained. I agreed. But rather than just changing my card with perhaps a show of some I'D , I was asked a set of ridiculous questions, some relevant others ridiculous. Then I supposedly failed the test- which was told to me in front of everyone there and my card subsequently blocked. But to top it all, it's not blocked for payments but only for purchases. Really? Is this the appreciation we get shown for maintaining good accounts. Could you humiliate me more? I have to pass a test to get an updated store card? Now I do not qualify? Now they want proof of I'D and proof of address. Don't they have all that information already or couldn't we have done that in the first place. Why do I have to be put through a test for an updated card at the store's request. Very embarrassed and very upset.
