Trying to open an account at Donna Claire and still no feedback after 3 weeks.

I have been trying to open a new account at Donna Claire for 3 weeks now and it still has not been approved.

I was advised by the sales person at the branch my account would know if my account was approved the next day. I therefore bought my clothes on my credit card and was advised once my account was approved I could reverse the transaction and put it onto my account.

I have followed up with the accounts department 6 times and each time they say there is a long list of applications and I will know shortly if my account has been approved. 3 weeks is far too long a wait. As far as I know all they need to do is confirm my proof of employment.

I am very disappointed in the service. I expected to wait a few days and it has now been 3 weeks. If it really takes so long for accounts to be approved then that should be conveyed from the beginning. It should really not be taking 3 weeks though. I have had to continuously follow up with the progress of opening the account and none has been made in 3 weeks.
