They don't want to close my account

I called in May to close my Account and the lady said she has closed it. Now end of May they're reminding me of a R40 that I must pay. What am I paying for because I wanted the account closed. I wrote on their Facebook page and they gave me a runaround. I'm not gonna pay anything because I called to close my account.
