TFG eGIFT CARD is a NIGHTMARE

I had initially app**** for a secondary card for my daughter because she wanted to go purchase the black Friday deals. She currently doesn’t have an ID only a birth certificate. She was told to tell me the main cardholder to come in the branch to collect the card on her half upon arrival I was told an ID document is a must and she needs to be present when collecting the card, this was mentioned when first went to the store, and I was focused to purchase an eGift card so she can purchase on Black Friday. What a nightmare this turned out to be she was at RFO JHB where they had to ask her to go to EXECT to purchase the gift card because the digital/eGift card is not working on their system, again she couldn’t purchase a gift card with a gift card. I didn’t know if this fact is not known in all stores. The terms and conditions are not explained at POS/ till point as they also don’t know the policy or the terms. The frustrations of the black Friday rush and queues this to add on top.
