Simcard inactive

I have called Foschini multiple times regarding my Cell phone number that I had a contract number with which I canceled last year now that I need to do a simswap I am not able to because Foschini group does not want to put my number active they have put it on inactive and my service provider cannot do anything about it until Foschini puts my number active. I have been using my number since 2001 never encountered any problems with doing simswaps before but ever since I joined their data and airtime contract I cannot do anything my life is stuck. I regret the day I joined their contract with my simcard!
