Sim swop

Good day , I took a cellphone on contract on my foshini account some years back , so the contract expired and the phone went back to prepaid , I used the phone like that for a few years until a few months back the phone got ****** , I went to MTN to do a sim swap and they referred me to foshini since the contract was from foshini , when I go to foshini they say they have to release my number to MTN so that I can do a sim swap at MTN , that will take 48 working hours , it's been 3 weeks now and I went to MTN store today and they tell me that foshini did not release my number to them and they are still waiting for foshini to do that after me going to foshini 3 times and called the call centre from foshini numerous times , I am job hunting and cannot access my emails because I need to do a sim swop, until then I cannot do anything , this number is also on my CV. PLEASE HELP ITS URGENT !
