Selling secondhand phones as new

<p>Waited close to an hour to get helped at the store and bought an iphons 5s for my wife`s birthday . To my dismay upon opening the box i could tell that something was amiss as the contents were looking out of place and used . On logging into the phone i found that there was someone`s contacts and apple id still stored . </p> <p> </p> <p>A day later on her birthday the phone screen started shaking and the screen contents wwas jumping . I have even taken a video and intend to post to youtube .We even went out and drove close o 50 km to get a sim swap . Now we have to do a sim swap again and drive to foschini to give the store .</p> <p> </p> <p>What kind of ehical organization does something like this . We have also picked up on hellopeter that we are not the first to complain of this issue .</p> <p> </p> <p>This matter needs to be raised at a much higher level so that these corporations stop expoiting consumers .Will keep updating this developing incident via this forum and youtube</p>
