Return with gift receipt declined

<p>Hi there,</p> <p>I bought a skirt for my mother for Mother's day at Foschini at Northgate, JHB on 7 May 2017. I then asked for a gift reciept from the cashier and asked her to remove the price on the item's tag, so my mother could return this along with the gift reciept if it does not fit her.</p> <p> </p> <p>My mother then fitted the item on Mother's Day but it was unfortuantely just one size too small. I then handed her the gift reciept so she could go return and exchange the item for one that fits her.</p> <p> </p> <p>She then went to the Foschini at Vereeniging which is closer to where she lives on Friday 17 May 2017 and she was turned away by staff and was told to bring the item along with my TFG card that I had used to purcahse this item. I find this very ridiclous and frsutrating, as they could see she had a gift reciept with her and that the item still has a tag with just the price removed becasue it is a gift. My mother then told me the person at Foshini , Vereeniging attending to her was a lday that seemed did not want to help her at all , even after she explained that this is a gift reciept. </p>
