Refund not made due to not having my debit card

I went to Foschini in protea glen to make return of clothes I bought on line and it couldn’t happen because they said they can only refund me back via my debit bank card that I used purchasing and unfortunately i didn’t have a card with me and they refused to do refund and yet I didn’t have money with me and petrol in my car got finished and I was stranded in the mall where as I am a loyal customer to Foschini for years and I always buy cash. I’m very disappointed to the core so be aware customers because what I was told I’m wondering if it’s even behind the proof of payment receipt.
