Pathetic quality

I purchased a pair of sneakers and within a month it broke, I was advised by the store personnel that it could be replaced with a till slip- which I clearly do not have anymore. I then purchased a pair of jeans at the same store, which also broke less than a month after purchase-what a surprise. I want to know why the quality is so pathetic and who will either refund me or replace the items! I am a regular customer and I am very disappointed in the customer service and also the products that I am purchasing that is of no quality at all
