Misrepresentations and False Promises

On the 23rd of November 2015 l ordered a Tablet Bundle Special on Hi Online a Shop affiliated to Foschini. The advert was for a Hi T1000 tablet, keyboard and Pouch. The sale went very smooth and delivery was fast. Upon opening my package l saw that all the products were branded as Mobicell Products. On taking back the package as stated on their Terms and Condition, you can take anything back to any shop in SA if your are not satisfied with your purchase. On your order sheet there are up to 6 reasons why you can return a product. I first went to a Foschini Store as stated on Hi's website but to my utter amazement l was told they could not help me l should go to a Hi store. In this store l was told to go back to a Foschini Store after a long conversation with an Agent who was not aware that l was within my rights to return a product. I went back to the Foschini Store, but they said l had to wait for a call.<br> This was both shocking and dismaying as l never imagined the TFG group was this disorganized. No one had an idea of how to help or what the protocol was. Further there was a misrepresentation on the whole Hi website, as there was no full disclosure of products and specs.
