Manager Says its my fault Bought the wrong colour

On the 10/10/15 I was sold a bottle of Estee Lauder foundation,I was in a hurry as I was getting my stuff in order for my upcoming graduation.I made it known to the consultant that was assisting me and she sold me the colour sandalwood.I used the foundation and I realised it was not the right shade for me.I was so disappointed because my skin looked ashy under natural lighting.I made time out of my busy schedule to take the product back.The consultant told me they dont do returns on cosmetics,I explained to her how I ended up with that colour.I asked to see the manager.When she came I told her the same.She said its is \impossible"for them to exchange the product"
