Horrible Service at Foschini Cradlestone

Good Day

I had the worst service when i visited Foschini Cradlestone Yesterday.

I had went to exchange a gift a friend purchased for me at the said store. My friend sent me a proof of purchase over whatsapp incase the store give me hassles.

When i got to the store The cashier, Ogone informed me that if i'm there for a refund, i must be aware there is no money in the store. I must come back another day. (to my shock)

i informed her i'd like to exchange the dress as 2 people brought the same item for me. I produced the proof of purchase & was told since the person who gifted me purchased this item with her account, they need her store card.

So for every person that buys me a gift from Foschini, i need to first ask if it was cash or card, if card, they need to handover their store accounts to me incase i need to exchange the item?

This went on for over an hour. The staff at this store have zero regard for their customers. Manager on duty was unavailable. They kept contacting him telephonically.

I'm so grieved. Im not a customer of TFG, i will never refer anyone to Foschini if this is how they treat their customers. Its like they go out of their way to make a simple exchange impossible.
