Highly annoyed and dissapointed with Foschini!

<p>For my birthday I really wanted to get myself a pair of sneakers from Sportscene. So as my birthday present my mother wanted to put my sneakers onto her foschini account so we could pay them off together. I had also received a gift voucher for christmas for the foschini group so I decided to save it to go towards my sneakers.</p> <p>So my mom goes in this morning to purchase the shoes and is then informed that we are unable to use a gift voucher with an account purchase!</p> <p>I found this so bizarre, so went online to the TGF website and found the voucher terms and conditions. It clearly states:</p> <p>▪ (vouchers)can be valid on cash and/or account purchases as indicated</p> <p> </p> <p>So there it clearly says a voucher may be used with an account purchase, yet in store they will not allow such transaction!!??</p> <p>Can someone please explain the sense in this to me?? A voucher is money that someone has given to me...so what does it matter if the balance is paid in cash or on account?! You still receive the full amount owed to you regardlesd.</p> <p>To make it worse...for christmas I purchased a Foschini gift voucher for my mother because I knew she could pick something nice and put the balance on her account (or so I thought!). That was the whole reason I have foschini my money and not another store. </p> <p>I am so dissapointed and frustrated with this whole situation. </p>
