Harrasing phone calls from TFG, BAD service!

I opened an account in May 2023 at Foschini in Riversdale, Western Cape. Since then, I have been getting non-stop phone calls almost every day, more than once a day, from TFG numbers trying to sell me stuff like insurance. I have blocked over 20 numbers, but they keep on calling on different number's. I have never given Foschini my permission to share my phone number with all of these Foschini telemarketers. With the POPI act, they are not allowed to share my number! I called Riversdale branch today to ask what can I do regarding all the harassing phone calls, because I would have never opened the account if I knew that TFG would contact me every single week on a different number. The lady told me that I should contact customer care service instead of offering to help and that she wasn't sure if the calls would stop after I do that. When I told her that I want to close my account, because of the inconvenience, she offered that I come into the store, so that she can check if she can block all marketing from her side. I didn't go, because she didn't offer to help in the first place, only when I wanted to close the account and she wasn't 100% sure if she could even do it on her side. I've had other inconveniences in the past, but this is my current problem with Foschini. They have bad service and bad customer care service. Don't open an account with them, it's not worth the trouble.
