Foschini Waste of time

I bought a pair of beautiful tan thing sandals. And was disappointed with the sole quality and I have only worn them once and they are chipping away.

I contacted Foschini customers email and was promptly assisted with an exchange of the shoes. I spoke to a lady and was told she found a pair at Protea Mall. Was under the impression that I had to come to Maponya to get the shoes.

On Sunday 12 February I go to Maponya and am told they don't have the shoes, so I understood and they checked and Called Dobsonville Mall to hold the shoes as I was coming.

I drove from Maponya to Dobsonville Mall and was told "sorry we can't exchange when we are loadshedding"

So this is where my fury starts.

1. The lady was called and told I am coming to get the shoes. Couldn't she tell mention that they don't exchange when there is no electricity. My time and petrol to get there wasted!

I send an email and the reply is a "Go to the store for an exchange." . Ghastly impersonal no thought for my time at all. Even though I mentioned in the email I will not be going back to Dobsonville mall because of their impromptu non-operating hours.

2. Foschini stores in the Township are just a hassle! So no generators. So everything is a stand still.

3. 14 February I am now over the exchange and just want a refund. Went to Maponya mall and guess what? They didn't have cash to do the refund!!! Float petty cash? Nothing.

I am tired of the up and down. 3 times back and forth. Haii

I am not going back to Foschini MAPONYA OR DOBSONVILLE for this refund.

I have wasted time and petrol.

So now I have to hold my breathe that going to one or the other will be a waste. No cash, no electricity I don't know what else is next, nothing is solved?
