I sent foschini an email requesting my monthly statements due to the fact that they don't want to pay out my insurance claim. Upon that call I was asked to verify my personal information however I got thrown off when they started asking personal questions about the credit limit and personal loan amounts that I've taken out with other establishments, my understanding is that those questions are asked if an establishment wants to approve things like a loan not to just send an email of MY payments. After not agreeing to provide all this personal information they canceled my account even when they had the correct email address, account information including home address. I don't think this allowed according to the consumer protection act, im pretty sure it's ******* too, not even the NCR allows this practice. Be careful when opening an account here, you might not get to find out what you paying for.
