Foschini blocking my account while im paying

I am really not happy with the service that I have been receiving from TFG Foschini in particular, They have been amazingly sending my statements to the incorrect email and all of sudden I was told that my account is in arrears as a result my account is blocked and there is no credit available, mind you the amount owed is R1600 or so, i called the customer service and i was told that the block will remain there until MARCH 2024 regardless if its paid or not, make that make sense to me and now I'm told i need to take my bank statement or payslip to the store to have this resolved. I don't understand why I need to do that, My instalment due is R670 for R1660 balance due, this is not even 10% of the balance due, I believe this is not even inline with TCF .
