Foschini a no show! Horrible service even worse in finding desired items at store

Today alone, I visited 3 Foschini stores in search for a jacket. The first store I went to was the Brooklyn store who referred me the Wonderboom Junction store enquiring if they have it in my specific size. According to the system it was there, I travelled 13km to get to the store only to be told that they don't have it. The lady who assisted me at wonderboom contacted other stores (Atteridgeville, Wonderpark and Waverley) the response from the store at atteridgeville was that they have the jackets however they are kept for lay buy. She then contacted wonder park who stated they have it. Willingly as I need the jacket I went from wonderboom to wonder park travelling an additional 11km. when I get to the store I asked the shop assistant who was available for the jacket in small, without even checking or enquiring she harshly told me that the ones they have are for lay buy and none on the floor the jackets are sold out according to her. I then went to enquire at the till asking to speak to the person who said the jackets are available and was told now a different story. I was told that there's theft within the store and the "Jackets' that are sighted on the system were ******. I became aggrevated because I travelled so far only to be told that. The manager who was available assisted me after seeing that I'm furious. According to my knowledge, If something is on lay-by it is scanned and it is removed from the system to avoid problems. The manager again checked the stores that have the jacket she called the atteridgeville store again and they told her that the jackets seen on the system are not available in store ands that they've experienced theft. same store different stories. To be honest I don't know how the theft and lay-by situation is my problem, you state you have. the jacket and when I come to purchase it , it is not available. why? now I've wasted petrol travelling to 3 different stores travelling over 50KM around just to be told stories.

If you don't want us buying from the store just close them all down to avoid us paying customers from wasting our time and money.

I need this jacket urgently and was willing to travel to wherever to buy it but the treatment and excuses I received today were absurd and this was a real inconvenience. I hope you fix your stuff because this is really not on. this is the second time I experience such and its ridiculous. the last time I needed a jacket dress from the store travelled to 3 stores only to not find it
