faulty Nokia 3 phone

On the 3rd of November 2017 I bought a Nokia 3 cell phone at Fochini Worcester in High Street. On the day of purchase the phone was used till battery got finished and was charged till it was 100% full, during charging I noticed that the phone is overheating but didn't read much into it as I thought it a brand am not fami**** with. I started using the phone as normal, but started also noticing the poor battery life, without much use and less calls received the phones battery life will not last a day, and the phone will freeze and switch off without notice when the battery is low.

On the 11th I took the phone to my nearest Fochini - Bayside Cape town, where I was advised about expired 7 Day window period for exchanges. I also was advised to rather take the phone back to Worcester branch to have it booked in. Worcester and Bayside are an hour and 20 minutes apart. Due to work travels I couldn't get to Fochini Worcester the following Monday, I ended taking the phone to Fochini Worcester on the 17th of November, where the phone was checked for warranty and was told I don't qualify for it, the phone was sent to Midrad for the whole of December for repairs. I received the phone back on the 10th of January, it worked for 3 days and today the 14th Jan am waking to a dead phone.

I am now through and frustrated with both Foschini and MTN as the middle man. I bought the phone and paid for it cash, but have never get to enjoy.
