False advertising

On the 10th of January, I went into the Foschini store in President street in JHB, because they had lovely items on sale. On the shelf it said 50% off, when I got to the till, that was not the case. The cashiers said that I had to pay the full price. She then went to call the manager. The manager then refused to give me the discount that was advertised, and she refused to remove the sign that stated you only pay 50% of the Original price. I then asked for the customer contact centre number, so that I can inform them of my experience. The manager and the consultant, denied that they had such a facility. I then proceeded to purchase a product so that I could get the number on the slip. I will never buy there again. Contact centre was of no use, transferring me to this person and that person, Service is pathetic.
