Dear Hello Peter
My grandmother recently bought me a cellphone from Donna Claire as a gift. I had the cellphone for less than one month and it switched off and didn't switch again. The very next day I took the cellphone back to the store. I lost my receipt but asked if they would be able to assist me. The shop assistant I spoke to said she would use the store copy and send away on request that I fill in a form with my personal details.
The shop assistant did not have the form I had to fill in with her and asked that I return the following day. I did just that and they said they would send it away as soon asas possible. After I had filled in the forms I did not once get any feedback regarding the where about of my cellphone and I made three trips to Tygervalley mall to go and find outa myself. I was very disappointed in there customer service.
I have been waiting now for a month and a half since I was last there and this week I contacted them to find out that they have not even yet sent it away after they had told me they would do so due to missingweather documents. After I had contacted them they miraculously found the documents they needed, after one month and a half, and told me that I would need to pay an extra fee for the repairing of the phone.
I find this very unfair as I have necessary bank statements to prove I purchased the cellphone form Donna Claire Tygervalley. I basically had to make phone calls and use my own airtime and petrol to find out how far they are with repairing my phone. It is the festive season and I am on holiday and just like anybody else I need my cellphone as the one I am using is 6 years old and malfunctions on a regular basis and I would like to take photos to gather memories with my family. This whole experience with Donna Claire has been very emotionally draining.
