Dishonesty and day light *******

I regret the day I opened an account with Foschini, I never thought they could be so dishonest and poor in their communication.

After I have settled account with them I got statements showing that I do not owe them anything , as there account was settled. Out of the blue I got a statement saying I owe them over 1000.00, I was shocked. When I called to inquire about this I was told there was a 700.00 and something that was never settled and was told there are penalties or my account was in arrears and it accumulated I then asked them why was I not told or received a statement for that 700.00 and Why did they wait till the account was in arrears? I find that to be very dishonest. I am willing to pay 700.00 but I will not be paying the accumulated amount in arrears, that I will not do it is not my own doing, it your poor communication and you never gave me the opportunity to make the arrangement for the 700.00.
