DISGUSTING STAFF AT FOSCHINI

My mum visited your store at the Phoenix Plaza today. She was trying on some make-up items which were testers. She was thereafter approached by a sales consultant who spoke to her very rudely and abruptly. She began to insult my mum, and said that my mum was "wasting the testers" and had no intention of purchasing same.

My mum re-itterated to the consultant that it was merely testers that she was trying on. Thereafter the sales consultant walked on towards her co-workers and started discussing my mum.

My mun then approached the consultant because its known that testers are allowed to be used. The consultant than began shouting and insulting my mum further. This was in the presence of other staff and shoppers.

My mum did not get the name of the consultant, but she recalls the consultant to be short, light-skinned and with her hair in a high bun.

I am absolutely disgusted at this incident. It is appalling to think that Foschini staff would behave like this!

I hope that TFG does not think they are too big that they cannot teach their staff basic manners.

Will be escalating this matter further.
