Disgusting customer service

I missed two payments during this covid-19 period and I got one call from foschini, the next week I got an sms from Anthony Richard and Associates that my account had been handed over to them who are now harassing and threatening me. According to the Consumer protection act Foschini was supposed to call me a couple of times and negotiate for payment, then send a letter of demand for the outstanding balance, after failure to pay then notify me that they will hand me over to a debt collector. None of the proper procedures were taken and now am being threatened to pay by a rude debt collector, it is also against the POPI act for Foschini to give my details to a third party. I am appalled by this conduct and demand better service!!
