Disgusted by the Foschini Group

i would just like to make everyone aware of The Foschini Group and the ******* that they are! I opened an account in 2017 with American swiss the amount granted was 13 500 that I could spend for I go to close the Account today 2019/07/09 thinking that my balance was 13 500 as per what was approved for but in actual fact to find out they Increased my limits with NO consent what so ever. When I called in to enquire on why this was done they had said that they increased it on the basis that when doing the application there was a Y in the Yes box and an N in the No box thinking that this gives them permission to increase my limits, every time I have been into the store to purchase on pay an account I have been told the my credit is 13500 yet it was Lifted to 16500 without consent. I even went to purchase my Fiance her engagement ring and was told I need to top up the balance in cash, now in order for me to Close the account I need to pay them 18500 I really don't understand where they get these figures from and who gave permission for them to do this. I am going to be seeking legal advice because the customer care agent I spoke to told me I must read my terms and conditions which I have and nothing states that if there is a limit increase yearly that I would like them to increase , I also went to close my Sports scene account only to find out there were magazines and funeral covers that I also did not permit on the account which I have paid for unknowingly. I not leave this here and am going to seek legal advice
