Disgusted

I app**** for a secondary card for my mother. We went into together and filled out the form which would be sent to head office and they will issue me with a ref no. which I can give to my mother so that see can pick her card up. This was to take place a week after completing form. After I didn't receive the ref no. after a week and a half, I phone foshini head office and spoke to a very nice gentleman. After he went into my account, he informed me that the branch didn't apply in the correct way. It was the old system they used which means it would be arriving by post. He proceeded to tell me that the secondary card is ready and I can tell my mother to go to the branch with her I'd so that she can go collect it. My mother went there and they told her that they won't issue her with a card because they require a reference number. She then phoned me and I spoke to the assistant there and told her what head office told me. She didn't even allow me to explain probably and she immediate directed me to the manager. My mother spoke to me again whilst in the store and told me that the manager will not speak to me. I find this horrifying.
