Denied 25% offer by Foschini Galleria staff

On 14 December 2024, I bought an Ankle Tie High Wedge at foschini Galleria branch for R999. I had noted that the shoe was on 25% off on line (Bash). So when I got to the shop, the shoe was sitting on a rack which had a "25% off on selected items" card. To my surprise when I got to the till I was told the shoe was not on special, despite having a green sticker written "on offer". When I asked the two ladies that were attending to me they said it is an old sticker or another customer may have removed it from another item and placed it on the shoe. Nevertheless, I bought the shoe at a normal price and left the shop confused and disappointed. The next day , I decided to go to the Gateway branch , to my surprise when I went to the till I was told the shoe has a special for 25% off. The Gateway ladies were more than happy to exchange the shoe for me so I can get the 25% off. I don't know whether the staff at Galleria are *********** or someone did not update their system? How could they not know what the green sticker written on offer means?
