Credit application declined with no explanation

I app**** for credit as I am planning on buying something on credit before a sale is over and I was declined with no explanation whatsoever. Please note that this is urgent.

I have a credit score of 674 and no missed payments on my credit record and have no idea why I would be declined. The staff did not assist me in any way and I am extremely disappointed and in need of urgent help.
