I was in default with Foschini, I paid the complete amount plus some to MBD Attorneys, I received a paid up letter BUT when applying for our home loan it still shows that I am in arrears with 7 thousand rand. When phoning Foschini i was told that the amount will keep reflecting for 3 years in order for them to not give me credit any more. All is clear on ITC and Experian BUT a Lucid report is still picking up their amount. It is one year later and we are still struggling to get our home load approved because of this. Is this even legal or allowed.
