Charging my account for services i do not remember taking

After paying off my account i get a notifcation that i am owing R32. I call the number in the statement and got through to collections. When i ask the guy to explain to me where the R32 charge is coming from he could not explain and his best solution was for to me to go to the store and pay the R32 and ask them to cancel the charge. I then asked to speak to the manager because i didn't feel comfortable to pay the money for nothing. He then adviced to call customer which i did and I spoke to this lovely but she also could not help with my problem. Although she did manage to tell me what the r32 charge was for. She said it was for accounts benefits. As far as i remember i did not sign up for that benefit and asked for evidence that i signed for that benefit. The lady could not find evidence on system and so i asked her to cancel the benefit. Now for me to pay the R32 i will need Donna-claire to provide me with evidence that i signed up for it. You can not just activate benefits without notifying the client.

Reviewer Update

Just an update on how TFG tried to resolve my issue. I got an email from Rozanne Ovies which basically tells me that they have checked my application form and I have ticked for the benefit. I responded by asking for a copy of the form she referred to and until today my email was never responded to. This was on the 4 August. I have just now decided to close my account. I didn't think this was going anywhere.
