Bad customer service

Hi

So i went to go purchase some goodies for my wife @foschini somerset mall earlier on ,after paying for the goodies , was just about to sign the sale off, while passing the goodies on to my daughter to keep in order for me sign the sale off ,the bag fell out of her hand and 1 of the products within the bag that cost me R250 broked,store manager(Ferial) and her department manager (Lanette)refused to refund it , i am fully aware after purchasing a product it becomes your responsible however this incident coud've been dalt with better simply because it acured within the store while busy singing the sale off , if it happend outside the store different sneario i wouldn't even had bothered about it ,im sure in this particular situation they coudve assited but decided against it , why im saying that is 30 min later i went to another foschini branch in Somerset west rufly 2km from Somerset mall to buy a jacket because somerset mall did not had stock and the sales assistant called somerset west to check if they had the jacket i was looking for , lucky there was hence the reason i went to Somerset west, while at it without telling the store manager (Jessica) at somerset west about my bad experience at somerset mall ive asked her "if a customer should buy whatever product within her store, after purchasing it fell and brake whilst in store what would she do". I qoute" i will refund the customer because it happened before he/she left the store.

Both are foshini branches, part of TFG group. Its not about money or the product which broked, its their sevice levels which is a concern, im 19 years within retail and thats not the attitude for this field.

Fyi, i received a gift contains a cologne(English blaser) and body spray (Yardley Goerges) testers that looks like stocks that are about to be returned to the vendor due to none saleable items.

Thats how cruel they are to a 15 + years loyalty customer towards theTFG group.
