Bad bad customers service

I bought clothes at foshini in menlyn mall in pretoria on friday 2 october 2021. The clothes unfortunately did not fit and since saturdays is very busy i decided to go and return the clothes as soon as the shop opens on the 3rd october 2021 on saturday. When i got there the cashier informed me that when they open the shop they do not open with cash in their tills. Only when customers pay cash then they get cash in the store. I was advised to go and do my other shopping in the mall and then return to the shop which i did. I find this very disturbing as i have a back problem. When returning to the shop after an hour and a half they still could not assist me. I wanted my money back as there is nothing in the shop that i am intersted in instead after alot of debating i was told they cant put the money back on my cheque account as it would take to long to reflect into my account which i said i dont have a problem with it. I ended up not getting my refund but a gift card from foshini which i dont want to use as they dont have anything. Is this really happening that foshini stores are oprns their doors for shoppers but does not have cash and we as customers must just get forced with their actions?? It is pathetic that i had to walk around and still only got a gift card that i did NOT want. This is pathetic. Very dissapointed in Foshini.
