I app**** for an account in Sept it was approved. When i went to Foschini in West Street to get my card , I was told that i needed bank statements to prove employment which i was not told over the phone when i spoke to the agent that assisted in opening the account and in the sms i received thereafter. I got the statements nonetheless. I returned to the same shop to activate the account and the lady that assisted did not ask for the statements, i told her that I had the statements that she had requested the previous week and she stated that she would only take them if she needed them. so when she did not ask for them I assumed that everything was in order. she verified my details and she advised that to activate it i needed to buy an item, and i did so. I used the account normally at the Pavilion however, a few days later I received an sms stating that due to them not being able to confirm my income, they would block me from using the card until I produced same, I went there today with the proof, but my account was still not activated, i was given a number to call and there's no answer, I want this resolved immediately as I' ve done my part they need to fulfil theirs.
