Adverse Listing from The Foschini Group

I had been given an Adverse Listing by Foschini Group in Jan 2018, they wrote off my account for making late payments, to which I was not in control as I was retrenched prior to the listing and tried to negotiate more reasonable terms to pay my account. I was making minimum payment amount but was subsequently listed for the months "not paid" adding up. I did not dispute this as I never knew my credit act rights as a consumer, had I known then, I would have prevented it from happening. TFG had sent my written off account to a company called CSS Credit Solutions. I make payment arrangements to settle the balance with my new job, I paid them off however I haven't received a paid up letter for my account. I have issues with the fact that these companies are so quick to list people for unforseen circumstances but when everything is settled, they fail to clear one's name for the credit bureau as an Adverse listing CAN infact be rescinded. I will never opt for any credit from TFG. They know how to ***** up one's credit history to the point that you can no longer apply for more important things!! ANYONE READING THIS, DO NOT OPEN ANY FOSCHINI ACCOUNTS, PLEASE. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO LIST YOU, BUT NEVER WANT TO REMOVE THAT LISTING ONCE YOU ARE DONE PAYING THEM!!!
