Account Handed Over to Collectors

I had an account with Foschini which I paid up in full in January 2024, I have been checking my balances on their WhatsApp portal which has been showing ZERO and is still showing ZERO even now. But to my surprise a debt collection company called me to say my account has been handed over last week. I am very angry and ****ed with their poor service. In 2022/2023 I requested them to cancel the magazine fees because not even once a magazine was sent to my post and they never responded. This is affecting my credit score and their customer services agents are very rude and quick to drop the phone on your ears.😡😡😡
