6 months return policy

I bough a pair of shoes at Donna Claire Maponya mall.I wore them 1 day and the sole of the shoe came off on both shoes.I returned the shoes and to the store and left my contact details I was advised the shoes are going for quality checks.I received no feedback from the store in 2 weeks until I called them. I was told that there is nothing wrong with the shoes and I will not be credited because it was my fault that when I was driving the sole of the shoes came off.Donna Claire does not want to credit my account as I do not want the shoes anymore and feel there is a default with the shoes. I do not want the shoes anymore and want to be refunded.
