Unfair treatment at foever new menlyn

I went to Forever new menlyn today to exchange the dress that was bought online. Got a lady from the store who was helping, she allowed me to look for anything I would prefer. Unfortunately in the store I wasn't getting the size on things I liked. Then I went back to her and told her tgat I couldn't find anything for exchange. Then I asked her if it is possible for refund, she said yes it is possible but it will be through the same process the dress was bought. Then she took dress and go with it storege (office) not really sure, then she came back were she left me by the till and told me that my dress is smelling she can't process the refund for me, I told her that I know how your policies work and before fitting that dress I read and understood what is expected of your policy when I want to return.
