Ford / Macroberts Attorneys don't investigate their cases.

My husband was sentenced to 18 years in prison in August 2023. Ford appointed a private investigator to trace my husband even though i had informed them of the situation and i tried to make payments as best i could. I got a phone call from this investigator that i had to pay R40 000 + the next day or they will take the bakkie. By that time, we were 4 months in arrears. Long story short, they repossessed the bakkie in January / February 2024. Now, I get an e-mail (final demand) from MacRobert Attorneys for R150000. He is in jail. We don't have the bakkie. How do we owe you R150000? When the investigator took the bakkie it was R40000?
