Disappointed FORD CREDIT CUSTOMER

Ford Credit has on their official website the option to defer payments, link below https://www.ford.com/finance/articles/payment-extension this allows you to make arrangements to stop your payments due to temporary financial burdens for a month or two. However on trying to use this option there is ABSOLUTELY no one in client services or at any FORD finance branch that can assist me with this or that is even aware of it. I have been advised to let my account fall into arrears then they can assist with making payment arrangements. Even though the FORD wesbite clearly says they assist customer so that their credit rating is maintained.

Yet to find someone who can assist with this. FORD should take it off their website. Seems likes false advertising!
