6 months and 52 e-mails later. Still no resolution
I live abroad so cannot call 0860 numbers. I refuse to argue over the phone since the supplier will have it recorded and I will have no record of the conversation. So I asked Absa Ford credit to conduct all communication with me via mail.
My question to Absa Ford Credit was:
- Why don't you request my debit order on the date that was agreed on and not any other random date which causes the debit order to be returned.
- What policy of R125pm appears on my finance statement since 2012, that I know nothing of and have not agreed to, and which accumulated into the account being in arrears. I never saw this statement before.
I now have 7 different case numbers. Each time I send a mail to enquire about the case, I received a reply with a new case number. By now the case has been dragging on for 6 months and a number of random people rep**** to the various mails they created, in no particular order.
On calling the call centre (when I was in SA last) to try and resolve, they claimed the account was handed over and they cannot stop the action because their networks are not connected. The one department does not know what the other is doing.
I sent all the info requested. Who cares?
