UNFLEXI CLUB CRIMESHARE BULLIES

I am basically being held hostage by Flexi club. I have been trying to cancel my membership for almost a year. I have a membership, for which I get charged exorbitant amounts for *****. This year last year I paid over R8000, just on annual fees alone. I have not been able to book a holiday at all. Whenever I try to make a booking, I am told that resorts are unavailable. Several times I was told I would have to book one year in advance to go on a holiday of my choice. Who does that?

Anyway, when I tried to cancel I was told I can only cancel from January to June, provided I don't have any membership fees due. Long story short by the time I was able to pay off the fees, it was after June and they said sorry, the cancellation period is over and then they added more fees for the next year. And you will probably guess it. I can't get out now cause I owe R8000 for a non-membership to a holiday club I can't even go on holiday on because it is always fully booked.

I have tried and tried but all I am told is "unfortunately this is the club policy". I have news for you. Your policies are unfair and also contravene the consumer act. The experience I have had with Flexi club is so bad it seems like the worst nightmare. They basically have taken thousands of rands from me while giving me no service. To top it off they refuse to cancel my contract while touting idiotic and possibly ******* policies that they do not disclose when they sell this nonsensical product to you. I have asked, demanded, and begged for a cancellation. At one time I asked this one consultant to give me the name of their regulator r or ombudsman so I could escalate my complaint since they were not willing to help but guess what she said? She doesn't know. What kind of people are these?

I have tried to get out of this but they refuse to cancel my membership and keep charging me money for no service at all. If I could give a minus star rating, I would give a big fat minus 5. I will have to settle for 1.
