STAY AWAY!

We joined flexiclub during 2015 with a five year contract, we were happy with all our holidays etc. Last year April we were at Club Mykonos (they have office there) a lady called our room and asked if we could come up to the offices as our contract was to expire the end of the month and she wants to give us new options. So we went up to the offices and while the lady was busy trying to let us upgrade/take out a new contract I realised that we were only due to upgrade/expire during 2020. First the lady was rather firm that it IS 2019, after I could verify on my emails it was 2020 she then tried that we upgrade earlier (to a package double our current payment) I didnt want to upgrade but she ensured me that the 'extra perks' for upgrading will be amazing, after doing some sums (I am an accountant) I worked out that the extra points we will be getting is only worth two nights stay at club mykonos. Not even close to the worth of the double payment we will be paying, after A LOT of explaining to the lady that it is NOT in our interest to upgrade we eventually left. So fast forward a year, we receive a statement from them on 6 May stating we owe them R4000+ for the year subscription, my husband phones and the lady confirms our expiration date is only in 2021, i explode in the background and say that I will prove from my bankstatements etc that we joined in 2015 thus expiring in 2020. They call my husband back and state they made a mistake and they will credit the invoice. 12 May my husband goes to upgrade his phone, the cellphone provider then tells him he cannot take a new contract as there is a judgment to his name, guess who - FLEXICLUB!!!!!! firstly we do not owe them the money as our contract has expired!! secondly how can you receive a statement due on 6 May and by 12 May you have a judgment against you? still haven't rep**** my husband's emails and no feedback to date??????? there's nothing wrong with their business model, however the way they conduct business is pathetic! Now we have a judgment against us that is completely *********, I mean is this even legal?
