**** upon ****

I have battled for years to find decent accommodation with points I inherited from my parents, who were initially ****med by this company 20 years ago. I have inquired about cancelling my membership which they claim I cannot do without selling my points. I cannot sell my points, and actually find it reprehensible to even request this because who would I sell them to -- some other sucker out there? So I refuse to engage with Flexi Club any more. But just a word of caution, they have now offered me a way to "help me out of my arrears". This involves moving to a 7 year contract, their taking all my points and cancelling my "debt" to them. Then I must pay R11.40 a share for 4000 more points. So my debt = R16K, I give them 100 000 points at R11.40 a point, should be worth R1 140 000 and then for an additional R45K I get 4000 points. This means I would be paying in the region of R2000/month for maybe one weeks holiday in some dump in Margate? I think not. Getting me out of R16K is going to cost me R1 185 000? I think not. This offer was made by phone and twice I had to ask for the offer in writing. I still have not got the complete information from them as obviously they would not want to put themselves at risk of being found out to be the ******* that they are. I would suggest that they cancel my debt using my ample holiday funds, reimburse me the rest and "buy" my points from me so that I can get rid of these idiots once and for all. That would be a good way of getting me out of my debt.
