Not enough units in Flexi Club
I have been a member with Flexi Club for many years and their service has deteriorated to a point that I cannot even book a holiday at any resort that I want. I phoned today and tried to book at salt rock palms only to be told we don't, as a club, own any weeks there and it's on a swop out basis (yet is advertised on their website). I then asked for champagne sports resort for anytime bearing in mind we can book a year in advance. I wanted a week, the best they could give me was a weekend in September. Going through the resorts online I found most to be fully booked with only the occasional weekend or midweek available. With 100 000 members surly there should be a minimum of 100 000 weeks available so each member could get one week a year.. simple maths tells me this can't be right as we would then have to own a minimum of 24 units outright in each resort. (Some resorts don't even have 24 units) This doesn't even take into account that I have 50000 points per annum and should be able to get up to 4 weeks every year if I feel like it. This begs the question as to how is it possible that they are still selling points if they don't even have enough accommodation for their current club members. For every 52 members they bring on board they need to buy another unit outright for the club and I found out they are actually selling off properties. They used to publish all the properties the club owned. Now you can't get it even if you ask. I wonder if selling access to something that you have no permission to access constitutes ***** or theft?
