Misrepresentation

I joined Flexi Club in 2014 while sitting in a heated sales pitch for more than an hour. The sales person was very good and painted a picture that you could not say no to. He literally said we need this and it will benefit us. In my first year, I wanted to make use of my first annual voucher and forfeited it, as they couldn’t accommodate me with my dates and venue. A trend followed for the next 2 years thereafter as this year’s voucher is also near its expiry date. I called them x2 in this time to cancel but I was advised I will have to pay R2500+ for cancellation fee. I then continued every month because I didn’t have the cancellation fee. This year when I called I was frustrated because as time went on I got more responsibilities and is unable to afford the unnecessary R500 pm I have to pay. I feel that I signed an agreement under pretence because the issues I have with them was not explained to me in the sales pitch. Everytime I call for Montague Springs, it was advised theyre booked out for the whole year? And you cant even go over a weekend? I feel that I didn’t understand the true T&C’s of this agreement as it is a total opposite deal at the other end of signing up. Based on my knowledge of the consumers act, I feel this is ********…..
