FLEXICLUB JUDGEMENT

I signed an agreement with Flexi club many years ago . The agent that I spoke to said that the contract was flexible and that I could exit it at any time . also if I wanted to retrieve money paid to them I would be able to do so at any time . However when I tried to claim the money back I was told that it isn't possible to do so , I need to approach a resale agent . I then notified them that I wanted to close my account .I received no response from them .<br> <br> I did this on numerous occasions until after a while I just gave up and changed my bank details to prevent them from debiting my account every month . I sent them an email informing them that I couldnt afford to pay them .<br> <br> I didnt hear from them for quite a while , a couple of years and then suddenly I received a summons to appear in Pinetown court . I told them that I couldnt afford to travel to Pinetown since I am located in the Western Cape . I informed them that they could keep all the money that I had paid them which amounted to more than R8000 . <br> <br> Last year they sent me a summons to appear in court . However I couldnt appear as I had just started a new job . I now have a judgement against me which they refuse to revoke .
