The Big Rip-Off

We have a Samsung VOIP telephone network supp**** and serviced by Flex Technology group in Northriding, Johannesburg and the unit stopped working mid July. When the technician came out we were informed that the product is no longer supported( 3 years old), cannot be repaired and we were given a quote to finance a new system over 5 years. We did not want a replacement but to have this repaired and insisted that the unit was not taken away to their workshop for assessment so how could they be sure that it was not repairable. After numerous mails to all at the company including the MD and after 3 separate quotes for new equipment (ours was not repairable) and after 6 weeks a second technician came out and after 15 minutes replaced a cable which had the equipment working again. This seems like a *****ed way to try and sell new equipment.
